This year in Reims. Louis Roederer celebrated its 250th Anniversary and the 150th Anniversary of Cristal, launching the “Cristal of Cristals”.

Champagne Bollinger is renowned for its richly textured, Pinot Noir–driven cuvées. Known for its traditional methods, use of oak barrels and extended cellaring, the Maison has built a reputation for creating complex and age-worthy champagnes.
A recent addition to its portfolio is the popular PN series, launched as an ongoing exploration and showcase of the diversity of its emblematic grape Pinot Noir. The PN series takes a terroir-led approach: the letters “PN” denote Pinot Noir, while the following letters and numbers refer to the featured village and base year. The cuvée is reinvented with each new edition, showcasing a unique profile of Bollinger’s trade mark variety.

AYALA Perle 2015 is a champagne shaped by heritage, precision and the quiet patience of time. This vintage marks the 30th anniversary of the Perle label and represents only the 13th release in a series that’s as rare as it is revered.

Piper-Heidsieck’s Chef de Cave Émilien Boutillat was in Sydney last week to reveal the third release in the Hors-Série collection. This collection is explained by the Maison as having three constant characteristics: Always Unexpected, Always Innovative, and Always a Limited Edition.
