Perrier-Jouët’s prestige cuvée Belle Époque

Earlier this year in Epernay I was fortunate to visit Perrier-Jouët’s Maison Belle Époque – and to be given a preview tasting of two of the latest releases of Perrier-Jouët’s prestige cuvée Belle Époque.

I’m very happy to report that this gorgeous trio is now available in Australia:

  • Belle Époque 2015: an elegantly structured cuvée offering a richness with floral, fruity and spiced elements.
  • Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2014: delicately balanced with tension, minerality and a silky texture.
  • Belle Epoque Rosé 2014: during my visit to Épernay I tasted the expressive and vibrant 2013 vintage, and cannot wait to taste the 2014.
Belle Époque displays the Maison’s expertise in revealing the rich nuances of Chardonnay, the house’s signature grape variety, and reflects Chef de Cave Séverine Frerson’s meticulous selection of crus, vinification choices and her art of blending mastery. Société de Champagne Sydney members recently enjoyed the Belle Epoque 2012 from magnum format and I’m looking forward to introducing members to these latest releases!
